Fire safety precautions in schools include
1. Fire extinguishers suitable for all types of fires, inspection tags on all fire extinguishers
2. Regular inspection of the fire system (riser)
3. An emergency evacuation plan should be posted in each room with a ” you are here” and when to rally at, Posted fire exit routes. All adults at the premises to be made aware of exit routes and meeting points.
4. also some sort of training showing how to use a fire extinguisher and the use of the proper type for different types of fires ( dint use a H2O extinguisher on an electric fire, etc)
5.Fire exits should be accessible to all children and adults.,
6. Fire blanket if there are any cookers on the premises.
7. Fire alarms, fire detection and automatic suppression system should be installed
